Refrigerated containers are actually shipping containers. They are insulated and equipped with an "all electric" cooling system, allowing for a
multitude of products to be stored at a specific temperature. Although they are called "refrigerated containers", they can actually maintain
temperatures below 0°F and up to 75°F depending on the product requirements. Refrigerated containers or "reefer containers" as they are sometimes
called are a great alternative to diesel powered units. Whatever your short term or long term cold storage needs, PRS has the perfect refrigerated
container solution for you.
Refrigerated Containers
- QUIETER than diesel powered storage!
- NEVER bother with messy diesel fuel again!
- NEVER pay expensive engine run time charges!
- SAFER for the environment than diesel powered units!
- Equipped with reliable Carrier™ refrigeration systems
- Capable of maintaining temperatures below 0° and up to 75° Fahrenheit
- Delivered on a tilt bed trailer for ground level access
Our refrigerated storage containers are designed for outdoor use. They are delivered on tilt bed trailers and placed directly on the ground.
However, they can just as easily be placed inside your warehouse for indoor cold storage. They are extremely rugged and well suited for harsh environments.
They provide secure and safe storage for many applications.
The refrigerated containers require either 230V or 460V 3-phase power to operate efficiently. They have T-bar aluminum flooring rated for fork lift traffic.
They are also equipped with lockable double doors for easy access.
Many small businesses choose 20' refrigerated containers as they take up less space (approximately 1 parking space) and do not require as much room to deliver.
If more storage space is needed, the 40' refrigerated containers provide more than double the storage capacity of the 20'.
